Neon Indian – Polish Girl
Alan Polomo returns for his second LP. Titled Era Extraña, the album sounds a bit more immediately accesible than his first effort Psychic Chasms. Check out one of the lead singles “Polish Girl” below. It’s no “Should Have Taken Acid With You”, but it’s a promising first offering.
James Blake and Bon Iver – Fall Creek Boys Choir
A track that is ultimately underwhelming from two overwhelmingly talented individuals. James Blake, whose self-titled debut album just might be the best thing released last year, has a new EP titled Enough Thunder coming out in a few weeks and this is one of the tracks. The EP also features his cover of Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You” which is, in 5 words, the most beautiful thing ever.
